AION's Nestable Pallet has been selected as a finalist for the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2023. AION's pallet is shortlisted as one of four finalists in the category Building & Construction Product of the Year. Winners will be announced at the Plastic Recycling Show Europe Show in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 11 May 2023.
A circular pallet with digital value chain traceability
The AION Nestable pallet is designed for full circularity. The pallet is produced from 100% recycled polypropylene/polyethylene from waste streams such as big bags. At the pallet's end of life, the entire product can be shredded down with full repurposing of material into a new pallet production. As such, the product is designed for a fully closed-loop solution.
AION's Nestable Pallet's value chain and use is set up for full integration with AION Loop, AION's digital platform that enables the collection and utilization of data from AION’s circular value chain. This enables traceability of material composition and product throughout the full life cycle and the provision of ESG reporting.
